Welcome to Mother's Luv, a heartfelt community organization dedicated to empowering and supporting women and single mothers 

 Mother’s Luv Community Organization (MLCO) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2004, with roots dating back to 1998 when then Jeanetta G. Edwards began working with young women facing behavioral challenges at Rose of Light MB Church. What started as a small initiative quickly grew into a broader mission to uplift and empower women throughout the Englewood community. Today, MLCO is led by Dr. Edwards alongside a dedicated team that includes a secretary, treasurer, and two committed board members—all working together to foster healing, resilience, and opportunity for women and families in need.

 At Mother’s Luv Community Organization (MLCO), our mission is to walk alongside women who are navigating life’s challenges, offering guidance, support, and encouragement every step of the way. We’ve developed a mentoring program that meets women of all ages where they are—that focuses on healing attachment wounds, nurturing educational and spiritual growth, and building strong, sustained foundations for the future. Through partnerships with other organizations, we connect women to essential resources. Our programs are rooted in community and designed to equip women with the tools they need to thrive—mentally, physically, and emotionally—for themselves, their children, and the neighborhoods they call home.
